Personal Data
We process personal data based on consent according to Art. 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), which you are free to give or refuse. Visitors from those countries where it is required will see consent options when they visit our website for the first time, and by clicking the privacy policy consent checkbox when submitting contact or registration form data on our website. Those same visitors can change their decision at any time by clicking the Cookie Options button that is then visible on the bottom of our website. If you change your decision it will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
We work hard to find and introduce new people to our services, as well as to improve the quality of our website. We want to communicate clearly and directly with everyone that visits. To do this we need data. This data, and what we use it for, is broken down as follows:
Name of the Purpose
Description
Analytics
Improving site user interface, optimizing sales and marketing content.
A/B testing and personalization
A/B tests, content personalization, improving site user interface, optimizing sales and marketing content.
Marketing automation
Sending marketing materials relevant to your interests.
Retargeting
Displaying our advertisements on other websites.
We request processing of personal data of visitors, such as an IP address and a cookie identifier, and, if an information request form is submitted by a visitor, a name and an email address or phone number, so that we have a means to reply. We also collect non-personal data to learn how visitors find our website, what kind of device they’re using, how long they stayed, which pages they visited, etc. This non-personal data is tied to a temporary identifier set in a browser cookie on the visitor's own computer and which is removed after a short period (see our
Cookie Policy for more detail). This helps ensure that we don't count returning visitors as separate visitors.
Saved Data
Please see Venstar's
Data Retention Policy for a detailed breakdown on what data is stored under what circumstances and when it may be deleted.
